More than one way to enter.
All released website reading and exploration are free. The catalogue distinguishes a complete work, a complete Introduction and a limited opening. An update never silently expands those scopes.

Entries describe the checkpoint at the time. Feature links open the current version. Dates use New York time. This history does not claim that the entire library, every world, or every planned format is finished.
Refined thirty-one existing orientation paragraphs to invite further reading more directly, while preserving their distinctions about evidence, interpretation, imagined possibilities, consent and what people can actually use.
The confirmed editorial set is now installed across all 442 current orientation targets, with 852 paragraphs. Guides cover the selected readings, encounters and navigation choices, each within its stated scope.
Kept the other 821 paragraphs unchanged, including two passages whose distinctions about surviving evidence and interpretation belong to the source inquiry. Reading labels, routes, original bodies and historical guides retain their identities.
This completes the confirmed editorial set for this local edition. World-building, shared services, contribution connections and publication remain unfinished. Released website reading and exploration remain free, with voluntary contribution optional.
Added two orientation paragraphs to each of eleven existing navigation panels, helping readers choose among regions, alphabetical shelves, selected Introductions, limited openings, library guides and source references.
Kept each panel’s existing navigation actions. These overviews introduce browsing choices; alphabetical groups and map position create no new manuscript level.
Preserved the individual scopes of the readings beneath them. Seventy source-reference bodies remain outside the selected reading scope, and the three MIC chapter-range controls remain navigation choices.
Released website reading, exploration and familiarization remain free, with voluntary contribution optional. External publication terms and the preserved guide history remain distinct.
Guides, draft encounters, and clearer access guidance
Added 24 orientation paragraphs across fifteen existing panels: nine website guides receive two paragraphs each, and six selected draft encounters receive one each.
Kept website guide roles distinct from manuscript volume Introductions. The draft encounters remain selected fiction, without a new canonical creature or world election.
Made the current free-website policy clear in the live guide interface. Earlier access wording remains available in labelled history notes; archived guides, source data and authored readings are preserved.
Retained external Substack directory titles, links and terms. Current website reading, exploration and familiarization are free, with voluntary contribution optional; protected or unreleased bodies are not added.
The existing selected public openings of Who and What is On Trial, Method Notice and The Blood in the Waters now each have two familiarization paragraphs: six new orientation paragraphs, totalling 1,271 words.
Every one of the 279 assembled literary reading entries and 109 existing parts now has orientation copy bound to its map/list panel. Meaningful guides, encounters and further navigation panels remain in development.
Introduced only the exact archived elected opening sections and their announced questions.
Kept each opening distinct from its parent: these panels do not summarize the complete fourteen-section Who and What production, the full Method Notice chapter or the complete numbered Blood in the Waters chapter.
Preserved source reading titles, scope notices and actions. No later hearings, findings, precedents or outcomes are added by this update.
Six existing reading entries now have familiarization text matched to their confirmed source roles: 19 original orientation paragraphs, totalling 4,000 words.
Added guidance beside Vineyard Movement I, First Trial’s opening and contents, and the elected Introductions to All We Do Not Know, Not “The End” and the OmniPart.
Added a separate two-paragraph panel for The Author Who Cannot Stop Relating · 1, covering The Faculty / FIRST THIRD only.
Kept the individual boundaries explicit: Vineyard’s later Movements II–X, First Trial’s chapter bodies, and the Author’s later thirds are outside these selected readings. Announced trial outcomes are not treated as completed chapter readings.
Applied the confirmed paragraph allocations, including three for the All We Do Not Know chapter Introduction. Earlier orientation copy, source text, reading actions and free access are retained.
The existing higher I.B. Introduction to Protopomorphogenia now has its own familiarization writing, alongside the chapter-level and chapter Introduction entries.
Added four separate orientation paragraphs to this one existing higher Introduction panel, following its confirmed place in the source hierarchy.
Retained the separate two-paragraph A–Z chapter Introduction panels and three-paragraph chapter gateway overviews.
Kept the elected source text, reading actions, library returns and free website access unchanged. The new panel does not release lower chapter or subsection bodies.
Help beside the Introductions, and a record of progress
The existing A–Z chapter Introduction entries now have their own familiarization writing. A new updates page also makes completed progress and current limitations easier to follow.
Added two familiarization paragraphs to each of the 26 existing A–Z chapter Introduction panels: 52 new orientation paragraphs. The separate chapter gateways keep their three paragraphs. Source writing, elected scopes and reading actions are unchanged.
Added dated entries for saved preview versions, with links to the current reading, maps, scenes and listening library.
Added this page to the home welcome area, reading room, shared footer and Compass Rose’s help links. The eight compass destinations keep their existing roles.
Kept the update history readable through ordinary text and links, without depending on an interactive map. No subscription, follow or contribution is required to use it.
The scene study, listening library and reader guidance have been brought together in one local preview.
Installed complete photographs for all nine existing viewpoints, with clearer look limits, aligned route markers and progressively softer light through the cave. Named routes and exact reading returns remain available.
Restored 43 selected narration recordings with play controls and MP3 downloads. The catalogue follows source Volume order and labels limited openings, companion material and missing recordings. MIC includes 38 of 45 authored chapters plus one selected original front-matter recording; seven chapter gaps remain.
Added the full eight-lesson optional learning guide, the Ways to experience overview, the Support Me letter and the existing paperback listing link. Policy pages remain review drafts.
Integrated completed familiarization copy for Interpretation, Memory and Weaving into the existing chapter and section panels. Authored reading text and elected scopes are preserved.
Added ordinary reading links for 279 assembled reading entries and 109 parts, plus a complete-photograph alternative to the scene study. Checked narrow-screen layouts, route returns, an optional prototype tool and the still-photo fallback.
Terrain, bearings, and a local place for responses
The library map gained actual dimensional terrain and more practical ways to find a reading or return to a local conversation.
Added an elevated terrain survey for the library, a roofless cutaway for MIC’s winding passages, and tangled overgrowth for the Vineyard. Terrain trails and reading-connection lines have distinct written meanings.
Added an optional Learn this world route, later expanded in 011, and instructions for using a reader’s own browser translation controls. English remains the original website language.
Added contextual discussion entries and local My conversations and Following views. Replies explicitly shows service status; it does not deliver another reader’s messages.
Removed the unwanted border around reading headings when a reading opens, while keeping a visible keyboard focus mark on interactive controls.
The threshold, cave and mountain approach were assembled into a reversible scene study, with ordinary reading and wayfinding kept within reach.
Established named routes, bounded looking controls, the visitor guide and context-carrying returns from reading to a viewpoint. Later 011 photographs replace the earlier scene images.
Checked the eight-destination Compass Rose and the complete reading entrances for 45 authored MIC chapters and 16 Believing works. Completed familiarization copy was integrated alongside the writing.
Added a text-only local reader notebook with drafts, export and recoverable thread removal. Contributions stay in the same browser on the same device.

More help beside the writing
Further source-bound Introduction and higher-level orientation panels are being prepared. They join the site when their elected sources and finished copy have been checked.
Wider worlds
Regions beyond the current nine-viewpoint study need further art and interaction work. The library’s dimensional terrain is a survey; the ground scenes remain prepared photographs with bounded looking.
Shared conversations
The notebook is local to this browser. Shared identity, cross-device history, delivered replies, notifications and staffed moderation are not connected. Read the current service status.
More listening formats
No matched narration-with-music edition has been verified for the 43 selected recordings. Missing recordings remain labelled, and later text revisions are not certified as word-for-word audio matches.
Device and access checks
Phone-sized layouts and the still-photo fallback have been reviewed in a browser. Physical-phone and multitouch checks, and full long-recording seeking, remain unfinished.
Support and policy details
The Support Me letter explains optional voluntary contributions from $1 and links to the existing paperback listing. Contribution collection is not connected; policy pages remain review drafts.
