Reader Policies and Help
Welcome
The website is free for everyone. You do not have to pay, subscribe, follow a channel, prove hardship, or complete a reading route to be part of it. Voluntary contributions help sustain the individual creator, keep the work available worldwide, and support continued creation. Contributing is a choice, never a condition of belonging.
The current website is an unpublished preview. No website payment is collected here. Released material and development plans must be distinguished: free access does not mean every planned world, recording, or feature has already been completed.
Find what you need
Terms of Use explains the project, reasonable use, changes, and your rights. Free Access and Voluntary Contributions explains universal free website access and the separate status of Substack. Contributions, Recurring Payments, Cancellation and Refunds explains the terms required before any future payment. Privacy and Your Data explains browser notes, marks, external services, and data controls. Community Guidelines explains written-text-only discussion, reporting, moderation, and appeals. Copyright, Art, Audio and Contributions explains ownership, permissions, suggestions, and credit. Account Security and Recovery explains the preview and future optional accounts. Visitor Guide and Accessibility explains exploration, direct reading, and reporting barriers. Support Me is the creator's personal letter, with voluntary contribution and nonfinancial ways to help. Contact and Requests explains where to direct a question, rights request, or complaint.
Website and Substack
This free website decision does not change an existing Substack paid text subscription, its price, or its billing. Substack also offers free following/subscription choices. Manage any paid subscription through the service where it was purchased. No website account or contribution currently establishes a Substack entitlement or joins the two billing systems.
The established commitment to fully public introductions, openings, equivalent introductory components, and website editorial familiarization remains. Moral Injury and Consequences and all sixteen complete Believing readings remain free in full, including their constituent parts. These specific commitments continue alongside the broader free website decision. External platform delivery must be checked separately.
Language help
English is the published website language. The Visitor Guide explains using your browser’s existing Translate feature for Spanish or another supported language. This is instructions only, with no embedded site translator or separate translation-service fee. Browser output is automatic rather than a reviewed edition.
Preview and policy versions
The notebook is currently saved only in your browser; its notes are not sent to the creator or other readers. Shared posting, public accounts, recovery, and contribution collection are not established by these drafts. Adopted policies will carry effective dates and significant-change information. This review package has no effective date.
Terms of Use
At a glance
The website is free for everyone. Respect other people and their work. Voluntary contributions are optional and do not buy editorial control or preferential moderation. Nothing here removes rights that applicable law protects.
Operator
The website is operated by [Operator legal name], an individual creator based in Florida, United States. P.I.T.S. HARK, Protopomorphogenia, and Living Map are project names, not a representation that a corporation or charitable organization exists. Use [Public contact route] for questions and requests.
Free website access
There is no required website subscription, payment tier, hardship test, channel follow, or separate purchase for each world. Released website writing and worlds are offered freely. You do not owe money, promotion, or engagement in exchange for access. An optional account may eventually support saving or posting features, but must not become a condition for reading the website work.
The project brings together authored writing, visual art, and an evolving literary environment. Available routes should identify released material. A development image, plan, or possible feature does not establish that it is finished or available. No completion date, permanent operation, or continuing release schedule is promised unless a specific offer expressly makes that commitment.
Voluntary contributions
The Support Me page explains why the creator is asking for voluntary contributions: livelihood, family responsibilities, time to create, worldwide free availability, actual production costs, and possible future collaboration. Contribution collection is not live in this preview. Any future one-time or recurring contribution must show its material terms before payment. A recurring contribution requires express informed agreement and a clear cancellation route. Contributing does not grant ownership, a financial return, or authority over the work.
Reasonable use
You may visit, read, use the available controls, and share ordinary links. Copyright exceptions and other legal rights remain available. Free reading does not itself license wholesale republication of text, images, music, or recordings.
Do not break into accounts, bypass security controls, distribute malware, disrupt the service, impersonate others, harass people, or expose another person's private information without a lawful basis. Future reader comments and replies are written text only, with no reader media uploads or embeds. The Community Guidelines explain conduct, reporting, and review. A respectful short question or disagreement is welcome.
Local notes and optional accounts
The current notebook stays in your browser. Saving or exporting a note does not submit it to the creator or publish it. Export anything you want to keep; local storage is not a cloud backup. Development account tools, where enabled locally, are separate tests rather than commercial accounts or verified email recovery. No future public account functionality is established simply by this policy.
Ownership
The creator and other rights holders retain their respective rights. You retain rights in your original contributions. Limited handling or future hosting permissions are described in the Copyright and Contributions page. A local notebook entry grants no publication license. A suggestion is not automatically authored canon or an agreement to publish, credit, or pay for it.
Changes and interruptions
The creator may develop and revise the presentation, navigation, and available work. Material changes should be explained honestly. The present decision is universal free website access; a later financial proposal would need to be disclosed and agreed where required, rather than silently turning a voluntary contribution into an access charge or rewriting accepted recurring terms.
Technical interruptions may occur. Intentional uncertainty in a fictional route does not excuse broken controls, inaccessible text, billing errors, or mishandled account data. Any specific delivery promise and applicable refund or consumer remedy must still be honored. No general development notice authorizes renewal of a service that has closed.
Restrictions, rights, and disputes
Security or moderation measures should address actual conduct and be proportionate. A contribution must not buy exemption from the rules, and choosing not to contribute is not misconduct. The Community and Account pages describe notice and review for future services.
Please contact the operator with enough detail to investigate a concern. You may also use courts, regulators, and other complaint routes available under applicable law. These terms do not require arbitration or waive collective claims. Florida is the operator's location; mandatory protections applicable where you live are not displaced by that fact. No general exclusion here limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Updates
Adopted updates will show an effective date. Material changes to an accepted financial arrangement require appropriate notice and consent where applicable. Reading these terms is not blanket consent to data processing. The separate Privacy notice must accurately describe the service actually used.
Free Access and Voluntary Contributions
At a glance
The website is free for everyone. Voluntary contribution is the term for an optional payment to support the creator. It is not an access price, a required membership, or a test of whether you belong here.
No payment condition
There is no required website subscription, tier, proof of hardship, or separate purchase for each world. Released website writing and worlds are offered freely. You need not pay, follow a channel, share a link, or promote the creator to participate. Optional account features, if introduced, must not block reading the website work.
The established public commitments also remain explicit: all introductions, openings, and equivalent-purpose introductory components are free in full within their identified scope, including embedded material and differently titled introductions. Every website editorial familiarization paragraph is free in full. All of Moral Injury and Consequences and all sixteen complete Believing readings are free in full, including their parts. None requires an account, subscription, follow, or tier.
What is available
Available pages should distinguish released writing, worlds, artwork, recordings, and other material from plans. Free access does not mean every planned expansion, audio reading, music release, or feature is complete. A development image is not a promise of a finished region or a release date.
Why contribute
Voluntary contributions can help the creator meet living and family responsibilities, be present as a father, keep writing and building, and cover actual production costs and possible collaboration. They also help keep the work available worldwide to readers whom even a small price would exclude. They are not restricted solely to a website-cost fund unless a specific offer expressly says so.
Your essential needs come first. If even a US $1 contribution would take money from food, housing, health, or another necessity, keep it for that need. You are equally welcome here. Nonfinancial participation is also optional; reading freely does not create a debt of attention, following, or promotion.
Future contribution choices
The planned contribution option may start at US $1, with optional larger or recurring contributions. No payment destination is active in this preview. Before any payment, its amount, currency, taxes, one-time or recurring status, cancellation, and refund terms must be clear. A recurring contribution requires an explicit choice. Suggested amounts do not become access prices, and stopping a contribution does not remove free website access.
Substack remains separate
Substack has free following/subscription choices and an existing separate optional paid text subscription. The free website decision does not cancel that subscription or change its price or terms. Manage it through its purchase service. No account, payment, or entitlement bridge between the two has been verified here. Report an external paywall conflicting with the established public introductions/openings/MIC/Believing commitments through Contact and Requests; this draft is not proof that platform settings have been changed.
Contributions, Recurring Payments, Cancellation and Refunds
At a glance
The website is free for everyone. A voluntary contribution supports the individual creator; it does not buy reading access. No website payments are collected in this preview. A future recurring contribution needs your explicit agreement and an easy way to stop it.
Before contributing
The payment screen must identify the operator, the amount and currency, any taxes or added charges, whether the choice is once or recurring, and the applicable cancellation and refund terms. A recurring choice must show its interval, first charge, renewal amount or permitted change process, and how to stop further charges. Optional extras must be separate choices rather than preselected additions. A contribution as little as US $1 is planned, subject to a real, clearly described payment route being configured.
You do not authorize recurring charges by reading a page, following a channel, entering an email for a free subscription, or accepting general site terms. A one-time contribution cannot silently become recurring. No money is taken by this static preview, and it asks for no card or account details.
Purpose and access
Voluntary contributions help sustain the creator's livelihood and family responsibilities, free worldwide availability, continued writing and development, actual production expenses, and possible collaboration. They are not restricted solely to servers, artwork, or a specific production unless an express offer says so. No charitable status, tax deduction, ownership stake, financial return, or guaranteed completion is represented.
Please put your own and your family's essential needs first. Choosing not to contribute, or stopping a contribution, does not remove free website access. A contribution does not purchase influence over authorship or moderation. No contribution enters you in a promotion or selection.
Recurring contribution management
If recurring contributions are introduced, the actual service must show the next charge, amount, interval, and cancellation route. Applicable renewal notices and consent requirements must be met. A material change must be disclosed in advance, with consent where required. The service must not substitute an undisclosed higher charge after a failed payment.
Online cancellation must be clear and no harder to use than signup, with confirmation showing that future renewal has stopped. A working fallback contact must be provided if normal controls fail. You must not have to negotiate or complete a retention offer before cancelling. Cancelling a contribution must not cancel free reading.
Stopping renewal, requesting a refund, unsubscribing from email, and closing an optional account are different actions. The controls must explain which one you are taking. Closing an account must address any attached recurring charge before it proceeds; unsubscribing from a free newsletter is not a cancellation of a separate financial arrangement.
Refunds and errors
No general no-refund rule is adopted here. Actual contribution collection must state its specific refund policy before payment and preserve applicable rights. A voluntary payment label is not permission to keep unauthorized or duplicate charges or disregard a stated promise.
Report an unexpected charge, failed cancellation, duplicate charge, or unmet specific offer through the receipt's contact route. Include the date, amount, service, and reference if available. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, or security codes. Keep a dated copy if a control fails. You may also use any lawful payment-provider dispute or other remedy available to you. No optional guarantee or fixed processing time is promised in this preview.
Changes or closure
If the creator stops accepting recurring contributions or closes the service supporting them, renewal must stop. Any specific delivery commitment and applicable remedy must still be addressed. A general aspiration to expand or become financially independent is not a guaranteed outcome or release schedule.
Substack purchases
The existing optional paid Substack text subscription is a separate financial arrangement. It is unchanged by this website decision or a website contribution. Manage it through the service where it was purchased. Substack publishes cancellation instructions and refund information in its Help Center; platform purchase routes can differ. Stopping one service's payment does not automatically stop another.
Privacy and Your Data
At a glance
The current notebook and reading marks are stored in your browser. They are not shared discussion posts or an online account backup. This does not mean that every future hosted version of the website collects no data. Before public launch, this notice must identify its operator, actual service providers, records, and retention periods.
Scope and operator
This notice describes the inspected unpublished website preview. Its operator is [Operator legal name], an individual in Florida, United States. For privacy requests use [Privacy contact route]. It does not describe Substack's processing or another website's processing when you follow an external link. A production version will need its own accurate hosting and service disclosures before it opens.
Notes you save on this device
The local notebook saves thread titles, notes or replies, a display name you enter, dates, topic identifiers, and saved drafts in this browser's site storage. The notebook feature inspected for this draft has no shared-posting or upload function. Other readers and the creator do not receive a notebook entry through that feature. A display name is a local label, not verified identity.
The notebook can export a file containing its saved notes and drafts, including recoverably removed threads still held in the notebook. The download is under your control. Exporting does not send it to the creator. If you later email, upload, or share that file, the chosen destination receives what it contains. Review exports before sharing them, particularly on a shared device.
Removing a notebook thread places it in the notebook's removed-items storage so it can be restored. It is not permanent erasure. The current preview has no verified permanent-delete or clear-all notebook control. To remove this browser's stored notebook and drafts completely, use the browser's controls to clear this site's stored data. Export anything you want to keep first. Clearing site storage may also remove reading marks and preferences. Previously downloaded exports are separate files and must be deleted separately if you want to remove them.
Reading marks and navigation
The map stores reading marks that you explicitly choose, including guided reading progress. These marks are not proof that you actually read or understood a text. Available reset controls remove the marks for the relevant route or group; clearing the site's browser storage removes the stored local data more broadly.
Temporary browser session storage supports map return trails, selected journey items and equipment, and a brief page-arrival transition. These features do not establish an online backup. Your browser may retain or restore session data as part of its own session behavior. Addresses and history may also reveal the route or page you visited to someone using your device. Ordinary browser history and downloaded files have separate controls.
Local account development tools
The inspected preview has its development account tool disabled. If enabled for local development, its client restricts it to a local service on this computer. Its interface describes a local handle, display name, password hash stored by the service, and server-controlled sessions. It is separate from the notebook and provides no verified email or payment service. Do not put a real password used elsewhere into test tools. The complete account server's retention and logging have not been verified for a public deployment; this notice does not approve that service for public personal data.
Cookies, requests, and hosting
Browser storage includes more than cookies. The preview uses local and session storage for the purposes described above. Some reading features request site content; local account tools can contact their local server when enabled. The reviewed client storage features do not justify a blanket claim that a hosted site has no cookies, logs, or other data flows.
A public website's host or security provider may process connection information such as IP address, time, requested page, and browser details. Before launch, this notice must name the actual providers, explain their roles and retention, and describe any analytics, embeds, payment, or email services actually used. Those arrangements are not verified in this unpublished preview. Optional tracking or unrelated storage must not be enabled merely because you continued reading. Required choices will be presented before the relevant optional processing begins.
Requests you choose to send
If you contact the creator through an external email service or platform, that service transmits your message and the creator receives what you send, including your contact details and attachments. Use the smallest amount of personal information needed. The local notebook is not a contact form. An unsent note cannot be retrieved by the creator to resolve a request.
Your controls and rights
You can read public materials without an account, decide what to write locally, export your notebook, reset available reading marks, and clear site storage. Browser blocking or private browsing can prevent features from saving. Local copies may be lost when browser data is cleared, storage is exhausted, or a device is lost. There is no verified cloud recovery for these notes.
For information the operator actually holds, you may request access, correction, deletion, or other rights applicable to your circumstances through the privacy contact route. A response may require proportionate identity verification, and some records may need to be kept for legal, security, or dispute reasons. Any refusal should explain its reason and available review or complaint route. The operator cannot remotely delete a file on your device or a third party's independent copy. This draft does not claim worldwide privacy certification or promise rights are identical everywhere.
Future conversation records
Shared discussions, a joined-conversation inbox, exact reply returns, free identity/recovery, unread tracking, and optional nonpublic conversations are not live in this preview. Before introducing them, the operator must explain the information actually stored, who can see it, moderation/report access, retention, and controls. An in-site reply indicator, email, and browser push are different features; none is provided by the current local notebook. No notification permission or delivery is activated by reading or saving a note.
Browser translation you choose
The website is published in English and provides instructions for using your browser’s existing Translate feature. It has no built-in translator. If you choose browser translation, your browser’s settings and provider terms govern that feature; some browsers send page content to their provider. Consider those settings before translating private notebook or account material. This is separate from a website upload function or an operator-selected translation processor.
Updates
This notice must be reviewed when hosting, accounts, shared discussions, payments, email tools, or other material data uses change. A policy update is not a substitute for consent where consent is required.
Community Guidelines, Reports and Appeals
At a glance
Written-text-only conversation is welcome: thoughtful discussion, sincere questions, different interpretations, and useful suggestions. Respectful short replies count. Paying or not paying makes no difference to the rules.
Current status
The current notebook stays in your browser on your device. Saving a note, reply, report-like message, or local reviewed mark does not send it to the creator, publish it, or place it before a moderator. The shared-service standards below describe what must be in place before public discussion opens; they do not announce that service as live.
Planned shared conversations
The intended service would offer one context-specific Read and discuss action for each subject, a central hub, and a way to find joined conversations and return to exact threads or replies. A free reader identity could support participation and recovery without becoming a condition for reading. My conversations, a quiet Replies area, and real unread reply tracking are planned, not live. No email or browser alert is active; any later alert would require an implemented feature and your own enabled choice.
Optional nonpublic text conversations would require clear audience, mutually accepted participation, leave/mute/block/report controls, moderator-access and retention information before use. Exact scope is not selected, and no private messaging service, absolute secrecy, or encryption promise is established here.
Text only
Reader comments and replies are plain written text. No reader image, video, audio, file, or media upload is provided for discussion, and reader links must not automatically become image, video, audio, or other embedded media. Creator/editorial artwork remains part of its stable reading, creature, or place page. Conversation belongs on those separate pages, not over the interactive scenery.
Thoughtful does not mean long. A short question, a careful correction, or a respectful disagreement is welcome. Do not impose an essay minimum or exclude people because of language, writing style, disability, or accessibility needs. Distinguish quotations, interpretation, factual corrections, and proposals where that helps a discussion.
Conduct
Discuss ideas and actions without insulting, demeaning, or targeting people. No harassment, threats, hate directed at protected characteristics, stalking, doxxing, deceptive impersonation, scams, malware, or spam. Do not publish private correspondence, another person's private notes, identifying details, or recovery information without a lawful basis. Do not use links to evade these rules or direct people to abusive or unlawful material.
Avoid repetitive hostile back-and-forth. You can disagree firmly, ask for clarification, pause, or leave a discussion. Good-faith criticism of the creator, a reading, or a moderation decision is allowed. A reader's proposal is not automatically part of the authored world. Financial contributions buy no editorial authority or exception from conduct rules; choosing not to contribute is never misconduct.
Reporting
A future shared service needs a visible report control and a reachable private contact alternative. Identify the contribution or page, explain the conduct, and include relevant context. Send sensitive evidence privately through the designated route rather than reposting it. Copyright, privacy, and security concerns should reach their appropriate request category. Do not make knowingly false or abusive reports to suppress disagreement.
The notebook does not send reports. For material the creator actually publishes, use the Contact and Requests route once that route is provided. The site is not an emergency response service, and no round-the-clock monitoring is promised. Legally required handling deadlines still apply to an actual service.
Human moderation
A shared service must have meaningful human moderation rather than a claim that a local marker or an unbuilt system reviewed a post. Moderation can hide or remove content, ask for a correction, limit interaction, or restrict posting when warranted. Consider seriousness, context, repetition, and risk. Urgent risks can justify temporary action before discussion.
Where practicable, the affected person should receive the rule involved, the action and its duration, and how to request review. Details may be withheld where necessary to protect privacy or safety or comply with law. Reports are not automatically public, but relevant information may need to be shared with those investigating or responding; absolute confidentiality is not promised.
Review and appeals
An affected person should have a real route to explain an error and provide context. Review should consider the evidence and stated reason; a different reviewer should be used where feasible. An individual creator cannot promise an independent panel that does not exist.
Restrictions should address the problem. Limiting posting should not remove access to publicly available reading. Security measures must be proportionate and must not become punishment for nonpayment, disagreement, or a contribution dispute. Contribution cancellation or refund questions belong to their financial process. Neither contributing nor holding an optional account purchases immunity from reasonable moderation.
The reporting contact, actual moderation responsibility, record retention, and review process must exist before shared posting opens. No invented moderation dashboard or guaranteed response time is established by this draft.
Copyright, Artwork, Audio and Contributions
At a glance
The creator owns the rights in the creator's work, and other rights holders retain theirs. You retain rights in your original contributions. A local notebook entry is not submitted for publication, and a suggestion does not automatically become canon.
Reading and sharing
You may read the public materials and use the website's intended features. You may share links to public pages. Copyright exceptions, public-domain rights, and any express license continue to apply. Making a work free to read does not itself release it under an open license. Credit alone is not permission to reproduce an entire work, image, or recording.
Writing, artwork, music, narration, and recordings can have different rights holders and permissions. A permission to quote text does not necessarily cover an illustration, musical composition, performance, or recording. Check a work's credit or license notice and request permission where needed. No claim of exclusive ownership is made over an unprotectable idea or material the creator does not own.
Your local notebook
Writing, editing, marking reviewed, or exporting a local note does not deliver it to the creator. You grant no publication or adaptation permission merely by using that notebook. If you later choose to send an export, only the permission that accompanies that particular submission can apply.
Direct messages and suggestions
If you knowingly send a question, correction, or proposal to the creator through an available contact route, the creator may read it, make working copies, and use it to respond or evaluate the request. This limited handling permission is not an assignment of copyright or a general license to publish your creative expression. Do not send private information about others or material you have no right to share.
An ordinary idea or factual correction may inform later work without making its sender an owner of the project. That does not give the creator permission to copy protected expression or ignore a specific agreement. A submission is not a promise that it will be accepted, credited publicly, paid for, or included in the authored world. Before using a substantial submitted passage, artwork, recording, or other protected material in an official release, the creator and contributor should agree separately on permission, credit, editing, use, and any payment.
Future shared contributions
If a shared posting service is introduced, reader comments and replies will be written text only, without reader media uploads or embeds. If you deliberately publish a written contribution there, you retain ownership. You would give the operator a nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, format, and display that contribution only as needed to run that service, show it to its chosen audience, maintain backups, and moderate or meet legal obligations. Service providers acting for the operator may perform those same limited functions. The permission does not authorize unrelated advertising, sale of your work, or turning your expression into an official book, artwork, or recording.
That hosting permission ends when the contribution is removed from the active service, except for limited retained backups, dispute or legal records, and quoted context that cannot reasonably be separated from an existing discussion, where lawful. A launch policy must state actual deletion and backup periods. You cannot revoke copies another person lawfully made or rights applicable law independently provides. Substantial editorial publication or adaptation requires a separate agreement. These future hosting terms do not apply to private notebook entries.
Credit and canon
Community participation is separate from authorship of the existing works. A reader's expansion or proposed interpretation is not automatically canonical. If the creator elects to publish a collaboration, the agreed credit should identify the contribution without suggesting the contributor endorses unrelated work. No contributor must surrender all future intellectual property to take part.
Copyright concerns
Use [Copyright contact route] to identify the work concerned, the page or item at issue, your relationship to the rights holder, and a way to reply. Provide enough detail to locate and investigate the claim. Do not send unnecessary identity documents or publicly accuse another reader with private evidence. The operator should also consider any relevant license, exception, or mistaken identification. This general contact route is not a claim that a statutory DMCA agent has been registered or that every safe-harbor requirement has been met.
Account Security and Recovery
At a glance
The website is free for everyone and reading needs no account. The current notebook has no cloud recovery. Future optional accounts must be described according to their actual sign-in, security, and recovery capabilities.
Current preview
The inspected preview has its local development account feature disabled. If enabled for development on this computer, it is separate from the notebook, real financial records, and Substack. Its interface provides no verified email recovery, live payment, or commercial entitlement. Use generated test identities and unique test passwords. A synthetic actor selector in a payment demonstration is a simulation, not secure sign-in.
Local notes
Export notebook material you want to keep and store it somewhere you control. Someone with access to your browser profile or downloaded export may be able to read it. Storage is not a promise of encryption or recoverable backup. Clearing site data, losing a device, or changing browser profiles can remove access to notes. An account cannot recover notes it never received.
Future optional accounts
If accounts are introduced for optional saving or discussion, the service must explain which data is actually held online and what can be recovered. A stable account record can help preserve legitimate records when an email changes, but verified recovery and backup-email controls are development intentions, not current verified features.
Recovery must prevent a person from taking over an account just by knowing a display name or supplying an unverified new address. A contribution receipt alone is not proof of every account claim. Any identity evidence must be proportionate and privately handled. The process must explain its supported methods and provide review for a failed claim. No public posting of recovery evidence should be required.
Protect yourself
Use a unique password and available additional security controls on any service where you have an account. Protect recovery email accounts. Never send a password, one-time sign-in code, full card number, or security code in a support message. Reach sign-in through the service you intended to use rather than an unexpected message.
If you suspect misuse of a future account, use its verified security contact and provide the identifier and problem without secret credentials. Temporary limits may be necessary during investigation. The operator should explain remaining restrictions and provide an appropriate review route. No round-the-clock monitoring or guaranteed recovery is promised by this preview.
Separate services
Substack recovery uses Substack's process. A website display name, local note, or contribution does not prove control of a Substack account. No cross-platform identity connection is verified. Cancelling a voluntary contribution does not remove free website reading; optional account closure and recurring-charge cancellation must be handled clearly as separate actions.
Visitor Guide and Accessibility
At a glance
The website is free for everyone. You can explore or go directly to available writing. Getting turned around can be part of the literary experience; being blocked by a broken or inaccessible control is a problem to report.
Begin where you wish
The Living Map is an evolving literary environment. Its cave and immediate exterior offer connected viewpoints and branching routes into encounters and source-linked writing. Follow the controls shown for a viewpoint; different scenes can offer different paths. Return controls help you retrace a route. A picture of a possible world elsewhere does not mean every region or feature is available.
Read and return
Use a reading link to open the associated writing. A discussion or notebook link leads to its separate page rather than making a conversation part of the scenery. Where a return link is provided, it should bring you back to the relevant viewpoint. If it loses your place or repeatedly sends you elsewhere, report the page and the steps that led there.
You may use the available library and reading directories to reach public text directly. You do not have to complete a puzzle, earn a progress mark, or create an account to read material designated public. Guided reading is an optional way to follow a route. Its marks are choices saved in this browser, not a measurement of your understanding.
Finding your way
Use visible labels, the available legend, backtracking, and any optional wayfinding controls. Weather, time, or a carried item may change a particular encounter where the scene indicates that feature. Such conditions do not change the free-reading commitment. Not every imagined tool, landscape, or future branch is released. Browser back and ordinary reading links remain useful ways to leave a scene.
Accessible participation
The goal is to make the writing and essential navigation usable without relying only on spatial interpretation, fine pointer movements, color, sound, or animation. Direct text routes, meaningful labels, keyboard operation, visible focus, readable text, and motion controls are priorities for implementation and verification. This draft does not certify that every scene, document, or media item already meets an accessibility standard.
If a route or control is difficult to use, please request an alternative through [Accessibility contact route]. Tell us what you were trying to reach, the page, the barrier, and the format or change that would help. Share your browser or assistive technology only if useful; you do not need to disclose a diagnosis. The creator can investigate a specific barrier more effectively than a general report that the map is confusing.
Art, audio, and changing conditions
Where media is released, appropriate text alternatives, captions or transcripts, credits, and playback controls should accompany it as needed. No audio is required simply to read public text. The project does not promise that all planned narration, music, translations, or alternative formats are already available. A missing essential alternative should be raised as an access request.
Reading in another language
The website is published in English. To read in Spanish or another language your browser supports, look for its existing Translate control in the menu or address bar, select the language, and use the original-language control to return to English. Availability and wording depend on the browser. No separate translation-service registration or fee is needed for this browser-instructions approach.
The website has no built-in translator. Browser-generated wording is automatic, not a reviewed edition. Compare the original English when coined names or moral distinctions seem uncertain. The long-term vision of access across all world languages is an aspiration without a guaranteed timetable.
World and service boundaries
Fictional uncertainty belongs to the work. It does not explain away missing source text, unexpected paywalls on public material, unsafe flashing, inaccessible navigation, failed cancellation, or lost paid benefits. Tell the creator about those problems through Contact and Requests. Access and technical problems should be investigated on their own terms.

Copyright and permissions: [Copyright contact route]. Accessibility and an alternative way to reach material: [Accessibility contact route]. Security and future account recovery: [Security contact route].
These categories may use the same monitored address. No address or working contact form has been selected for this unpublished review package. These labels must be replaced by verified reachable routes before the pages are published. The local notebook is not a way to send a message or report.
Help us locate the issue
Include the relevant page or work, what happened, what you expected, and how to reply. For an unexpected paywall, say whether it appeared on the website or Substack and identify the material. The website is free for everyone; on Substack, the established fully public introductions/openings/MIC/Believing commitments remain distinct from its separate optional paid text subscription. For a charge, use the receipt reference and the service where you paid. Avoid sending full card numbers, passwords, sign-in codes, unnecessary identity documents, or another person's private material.
If the concern is sensitive
Send only what is needed to investigate. A public discussion is not the right place for recovery evidence, private correspondence, or identifying details about a reported person. A report may need to be shared with people helping to investigate, subject to privacy and safety needs; absolute confidentiality is not promised. A contact request is not monitored as an emergency service.
Reviews and appeals
