Clarity will examine the intelligible boundary more closely. Its reward matters because people cannot coordinate through distinctions no one can recognize. A term should make relevant conditions understandable enough to guide action and receive correction. That demand does not authorize us to call every relation beyond the term irrelevant. The subsection will need to preserve the difference between a clear account and a complete possession. The introduction has shown how easily those can be confused in ordinary work. We knew what dry meant for the selected use and still needed the present condition to enter its application. We understood the instruction and still needed its grounds renewed after a relevant change. The common WE should carry clarity through such distinctions instead of letting its pleasure collapse them. I want language severe enough to say what it establishes and what it does not. Vagueness can conceal responsibility, but an unqualified sharp word can conceal it too. Its edge may cut away the very relation through which the task's consequence could return. A clearer limit would protect the earned answer and preserve another necessary question. The point should make the gathering able to proceed without making everyone outside the point prove that their conditions deserve existence. We can teach a term, rely on its supported use, and keep its remainder available where the work needs it. That is more demanding than repeating a simple word until agreement sounds like completion. It requires enough attention to know whether the cleaner account actually serves the encounter or merely makes the encounter easier to dismiss when its difference interrupts the satisfaction of having finally said something everyone present knows how to repeat.

Control and Prediction will follow what participants do and expect through the account. Their rewards are practical. A recognized distinction can organize selection, assign an operation, and let a worker anticipate the next step. Those achievements should not be confused with command over every condition or certainty about every later result. We can act more reliably when the account identifies the part of the relation we actually influence and the grounds supporting an expectation. Fear of the Unassigned Field will then receive the remainder whose lack of a ready category makes it difficult to endure. We should not treat that difficulty as evidence that any familiar category is better than a located uncertainty. The four supplied movements stay distinct because their consequences differ. A clear word can be misapplied, a useful action can be insufficient, a reasonable prediction can meet a changed condition, and an unresolved encounter can be given a false place principally to relieve discomfort. Each needs an answer at its proper location. The common WE can preserve the actual reward and repair the excess without declaring definition itself corrupt. I have wanted the point to carry all four achievements together, as though once a thing was named I could understand it completely, direct it fully, predict its future, and rest from every unassigned relation. The world did not consent to that bargain. The task ahead is to recover the useful distinctions the bargain erased. We can have intelligible language, supported action, proportionate expectation, and a practical way to hold uncertainty without demanding that one finished word become proof the field has no further conditions any participant could ever need to return.

The workers began with the newly selected material. The exposed bundle remained under a separate, stated examination, and the remaining supplies had been moved from the known point of change. The day was still unfinished. Its unfinished character no longer had to be hidden inside the word that helped us act. I watched the worker carry the usable bundle into the room and felt relief I could now name accurately. An examined relation supported the action. The account had reached him, his return had reached the selection, and the revised instruction had changed what the task would receive. That relief belonged to completed local work, not to a fantasy that the rest of the world had stopped moving. The point could remain firm enough to guide us while the field remained real enough to answer us, and the gathering could proceed without making another person's changed condition pay for the comfort of a description we had mistaken for finished understanding.
